Offered for sale is a high quality natural stand of loblolly pine, totaling 13.7 acres. Two short streamside management zones have been marked on the property from which pine timber greater than 14 inches DBH and/or with a stump greater than 18 inches in diameter may be harvested providing no logging equipment enters the SMZ.

Within the harvest area, loblolly pine sawtimber averages 14,955 board feet per acre and 252 boardfeet per tree. These pines have grown slow and have never been thinned. Over 39% are greater than 18 inches DBH and over 19% are greater than 20 inches DBH. Only a small amount of scattered chip and saw, hardwood and fiber will be found within the stand.

Within the SMZ, pine timber greater than 14 inches DBH and/or with a stump greater than 18 inches in diameter may be harvested providing no logging equipment enters the SMZ. The SMZ may NOT be crossed.

Access for logging will be directly from North Carolina Hwy 54 or from Dodsons Crossroads Road.
