Timber Sale for Martha Branson — Sold!

Offered for sale is a high quality mature stand of mixed hardwoods, with areas of pine, totaling 56.27 acres. Two short streamside management zones have been marked on the property from which no timber is to be harvested.

Within the harvest area, yellow poplar sawtimber averages 4,110 board feet per acre and 195 boardfeet per tree. White oak contributes an additional 1,278 board feet per acre and red oak, hickory, sweetgum and other hardwoods contribute 1,527 board feet per acre. The pine timber consists of loblolly, shortleaf and virginia. The loblolly sawtimber averages 1,165 boardfeet per acre, the shortleaf 633 boardfeet per acre and the virginia 787 boardfeet per acre.

NO timber may be harvested from within the two short streamside management zones.

Access for logging will be a private easement to Moorefields Road (SR 1135) via Shadetree Road which is also a private easement. The Branson easement diverts from Shadetree road 425 feet from Moorefields Road. Refer to the recorded map in Book 116, Page 46.
