Sold! — Offered for sale by the consulting forester is a first thinning on 14.47 acres of loblolly pine plantation and a clear-cut on 6.51 acres of natural pine. The thinning portion of this sale, to be accessed from Hwy 42, will consist of a harvest that removes every third row. Trees in the remaining two rows are to be thinned from below to a target basal area of 80. All hardwood fiber within the sale area is to be harvested. The clear-cut portion this sale will be accessed from Creech Church Road. Interested buyers should submit unit prices and a tentative start date. Rawlings Consulting Forestry reserves the right to reject any and all offers and may require on-site inspections of previously thinned stands.
